Members

WAG members range from absolute beginners to established astronomers with many years experience in Astronomy and Astrophotography. We are an informal and friendly bunch, who enjoy welcoming new starters to the hobby. We can help you with any problems you may have setting up your new scope for instance. We encourage you to come along to our meetings without any commitment to see if you like us and want to attend regularly. If you are interested in the group and have any questions, please drop us a message on the contact form and we will be happy to help.

We have an active Facebook group which anyone local to the area and interested in astronomy is welcome to join. This allows people to share information in a less formal way, posting images taken or heads up info about upcoming events for example.

Regular meet-ups take place at the Black Swan pub in Ockham, currently the 1st Thursday of the month.

Ad hoc observing is arranged subject to weather conditions.
Look out for our next meeting in the
Observing and Events section or j
oin us on Facebook to get updates from us.
