WAG MOTTO

In line with our normal informal approach, we recently decided on a club motto during a chat on the WhatsApp group. Credit goes to Dinesh for the motto, and Magnus for suggesting putting it into Latin to look sophisticated!

So, our motto is:

meaning

Astronomy demands opportunism

Given the challenging nature of urban astronomy in the UK, with the associated light pollution and inclement weather it seems highly appropriate!
